Today September 15, 2026 would have been my Iron Butterfly bandmate and friend Lee Dorman's 85th birthday. Lee was a scholar and a gentleman and it was a great pleasure to work with and be his friend for 11 years. I've just finished recording my latest project and have probably played this bass 500 times in the last 5 months. It really sounds amazing with the Alembic preamp he had installed while working on and playing with Captain Beyond. Happy birthday Mr. Lee with slide of my baseball hat to the right and a Coca-Cola raised in your honor.
